DRIVING INNOVATION AND REAL-WORLD SURGICAL APPLICATION
Anatomex 3D develops anatomically accurate, high-fidelity 3D models for surgical simulation, training and medical education. Our models support hands-on learning across multiple specialties, including rhinology, skull base surgery, transorbital endoscopy, neurosurgery, otology, laryngology and aesthetics.
Developed in collaboration with practising surgeons, our models provide realistic, reusable alternatives for learning anatomy, demonstrating surgical techniques and practising procedures in cadaver-free environments. They are designed to meet the practical needs of surgeons, surgical trainees and educators.
Manufactured to order, Anatomex 3D models are used for surgical training, patient education and medical-device demonstrations, supporting individual clinicians, training institutions and industry partners.

Transorbital Model
The Anatomex 3D Transorbital Model is designed for hands-on training in transorbital neuroendoscopic surgery (TONES). With removable orbits and anatomically accurate bone and soft tissue structures, it enables surgeons to practise endoscopic approaches to the orbit and skull base, including surgical access, reconstruction and defect repair.
Bookface Sinus Model
The Anatomex 3D Bookface Sinus Model is a practical patient education tool that helps ENT surgeons explain sinus anatomy, endoscopy and CT findings, and proposed surgical procedures. Its unique book-style design opens to reveal colour-coded anatomical structures, making complex sinus conditions and treatments easier for patients to understand.
Airway Model
The Anatomex 3D Airway Model is a high-fidelity simulation model for training in rigid and flexible bronchoscopy, foreign body removal from the trachea, and balloon dilatation of tracheal stenosis. It also supports hands-on teaching of microlaryngeal surgery, including laser and coblation techniques, allowing trainees to practise instrument handling.

Clinical expertise and international teaching
Anatomex 3D models are designed for real-world surgical training and education. Shown here in use at a hands-on course at the Neuroscience Institute in Cape Town, the Transorbital Model supports practical teaching and helps surgeons and trainees develop confidence in realistic, procedure-focused simulation.
Several Anatomex 3D models have been developed in collaboration with Professor Darlene Lubbe, an internationally recognised rhinologist and endoscopic skull base surgeon who teaches at surgical courses and workshops worldwide.
